Twenty-five years ago, the evil Rakshasa Soul Hall invaded Yunzhou, causing great bloodshed. Leader Nangong Chengfeng led his forces to defeat the invaders, then retired to Dragon Cloud Mountain. On his way, he found an abandoned baby boy and named him Lin Fan, raising him as his final disciple. Twenty years later, Lin Fan grew up but remained naive due to his sheltered life. The four families sent their children to learn martial arts as repayment. Nangong Chengfeng, overwhelmed, left Lin Fan in charge and went traveling.
