This drama tells the story of Su Yuyan, who learns during psychological counseling that her marriage has caused her great harm and that she has a serious tendency towards depression. Her husband, Gu Lingcheng, is entangled with his lover, Han Yaxin. After Han Yaxin falls ill, she blames Su Yuyan, who states that she has fulfilled her responsibilities towards her. Gu Lingcheng, however, verbally abuses Su Yuyan, plunging her into deep pain. Their marriage teeters on the brink amidst her husband's misunderstanding and his lover's provocation.
