Psychologist Gu Chenzhou uses hypnosis to control his patient Su Wan, causing her mental breakdown. Su Wan's best friend Lin Ruochu notices something wrong and investigates. She counter-hypnotizes Gu Chenzhou, exposing his true nature. The awakened Gu Chenzhou flies into a rage, but then the real psychologist appears, revealing that Gu Chenzhou is actually a multiple personality disorder patient who has killed many people.
